From the Bottom up!

Do you like to dream of an imaginary world? I have a couple of favourites that I like to close my eyes to see from time and time. Some years ago I discovered an urge to document my exploration of these worlds. So began my first geofictional project.

From the Bottom Up was developed from my own experiences and through research and discussion with fellow conworld enthusiasts.

From the Bottom Up explores a fantasy world from its very beginning. It provides the reader with the knowledge of how your world came to exist. As you explore each topic you can watch your world grow up into a geofiction.

The topics in the Bottom Up Model are explored by asking a series of questions that help to define the characteristics of your world. You can also be guided by using the Bottom Up Model in conjunction with information and ideas found in our Wiki World Building Pages. Each page provides useful links to external sources of information that I have found useful and interesting while building my worlds.
